The new Porsche Cayenne launched in India at Rs 1.02 crore onwards

Porsche India has launched the updated Cayenne ahead of its scheduled 2015 arrival in showrooms. The 2015 Porsche Cayenne range starts from Rs 1.02 crore and goes all the way up to Rs 1.74 crore, ex-Maharashtra. The new Cayenne has its headlamps and tail lamps designed differently from the outgoing one.
The bonnet and bumper are new as well. The side profile largely remains the same, save for the new alloys. At the rear, the exhaust pipes are new and so is the handle of the boot. On the inside, there's a new steering wheel inspired from the 918 Spyder with paddle shifters as standard.

Optional seat ventilation is available for the rear seat passengers. Porsche has also upped the power and torque figures of the new Cayenne. The 3.0-litre V6 diesel makes 245PS of power and 550Nm of torque. Porsche claims a 0-100kmph time of 7.6 seconds with a top speed of 218kmph.
The bigger 4.2-litre V8 motor in the Cayenne S produces 385PS and 850Nm of torque. The 0-100kmph sprint takes a claimed 5.4 seconds with the top speed rated at 252kmph. The petrol engines in the Cayenne S and Turbo are now more powerful as well as sip less fuel as compared to the outgoing versions.
