The Audi TT is a small two-door sports car marketed by Volkswagen Group subsidiary Audi since 1998, both assembled by the Audi subsidiary Audi Hungaria Motor Kft. in Győr, Hungary, using bodyshells manufactured and painted at Audi's Ingolstadtplant.
The 2015 Audi TT is expected to be offered with two petrol engines and one diesel engine. The petrol variants will come fitted with a 2.0-litre TFSI engine that is tuned in two states: 230PS/370Nm and 310PS/380Nm. The higher spec petrol engine is called the TTS. The diesel variant on the other hand, will come fitted with a 2.0-litre TDI unit that is rated at 184PS and 380Nm, All engines will come coupled to either a 6-Speed manual transmission or a 6-Speed DSG tranny.
Post it global launch, the 2015 Audi TT could make its way into the Indian market via the CBU (Completely Built Unit) route and will rival the likes of BMW Z4 and the Mercedes Benz SLK-Class.
