We earlier reported you about Maruti's plan to introduce a premium hatchback in the country which will be positioned above the Swift hatch and compete against the likes of Hyundai Elite i20, Volkswagen Polo and yet-to-be-launched Honda Jazz. Even, the clear images of the hatchback surfaced online completely undisguised, and now the folks at Motor Octane have captured the interiors of the right-hand-drive configuration YRA hatchback.
Going by the spy-shot 1, it is the mid-level trim which would boast an automatic transmission and carry an all black dash along with silver inserts for the center console and AC vents. The mid-level V trim with an AT gearbox would also have premium features such as automatic climate control, all four power windows, and steering mounted audio controls.
However, surprisingly, it won't feature music system as a standard feature. On the other hand, the second spy image showcases the top-end variant of the YRA hatchback with manual transmission. The top-of-the-end trim would come loaded with 2-DIN music system, cruise control, keyless entry with an engine starter button, electrically adjustable and folding wing mirrors as standard features. It would be the first time that a Maruti hatch would carry cruise control feature.
