BMW has released a video which showcasesthe facelifted M6 Coupe, Convertible and Gran Coupe. While the cars look virtually identical to their predecessor, but there are a few changes.
The facelift versions feature a new front fascia with standard LED headlights. They also have 19- or 20-inch lightweight alloy wheels The inside of the car is largely the same and comes equipped with Merino leather sport seats, a leather-wrapped sport steering wheel and contrast stitching. There are also the illuminated sill plates, an M-specific instrument cluster and according to the folks at BMW, an iPhone-style Central Information Display.
Power comes from a 4.4-litre M TwinPower Turbo V8 engine that develops 555bhp and 680 Nm of torque. This helps it do 0-100 km/h in 4.2 seconds - 4.3 seconds for the M6 Convertible - before hitting an electrically limited top speed of 250 km/h.
If you thought that was not enough, well, there is a Competition Package on offer which raises the output to 572bhp and 680 Nm of torque. This reduces the 0-100 km/h time by a tenth of a second across the range.
