Tata Nano Hybrid in Rs. 2.50-3.00 Lakhs

Tata Nano, the cost effective brainchild of Tata Motors Limited, was a major breakthrough in the Indian automobile industry. Introduced in the year 2009, Tata Nano or the 'Small Wonder' is marketed as world's cheapest car. This value-for-money vehicle by Tata Motors Limited is currently available in five petrol-powered variants.
According to reports, the automaker is coming up with a micro hybrid variant that will improve the existing fuel economy considerably. The Start-Stop technology of the car is expected to cut down fuel consumption by as much as 5 per cent and lower emissions by 10 per cent. It has been speculated that the micro-hybrid technology will be acquired by the Indian car making giant from Bosch and Continental. With this technology, the vehicle will switch off automatically as soon as it comes to a halt, thus saving considerable fuel.
It is expected that the car maker will redesign the vehicle to quite an extent before launching its micro hybrid variant in the market. Therefore, buyers can expect revised dimensions, like length of 3090 mm, width of 1487 mm and height of 1585 mm. Moreover, interiors have been designed and decorated by better quality material as compared to its predecessor.
Engines & Specifications of Tata Nano Hybrid
Tata Nano Hybrid is assimilated with 624 cc, micro hybrid petrol engine that has a capability of delivering power of 33 bhp at 5250 rpm. Moreover, peak torque of 48 Nm at 2500 rpm. This powerful engine is mated with an advanced 4-speed gear-shift transmission system. Furthermore, Tata Nano Hybrid has independent gas filled struts at the front whereas coil springs at the rear for suspension.

Upcoming version of world's cheapest car, Tata Nano Hybrid is loaded with a fuel efficient micro hybrid petrol engine. This engine is supported by an advanced four-speed manual gearbox. The hybrid edition of the car is expected to better acceleration delivered by the existing variant. With the introduction of hybrid model, Tata Nano Hybrid will challenge cars in the compact car segment.

The compact hatchback from Tata Motors Limited has a decent exterior appearance.
