The new Duster from Renault brings quite a few updates to make it look fresher in the market. It looks fresher compared to its current iteration. The Duster surely needed the updates to make it stand out from the crowd given that EcoSport has put a slight dent in the sales of the Duster and the Terrano from Nissan doesn't seem to be helping in improving the sales numbers for Renault India.
Renault has no plans at present to change the mechanical components on the new Duster. It will continue with the current engine line-up. The exteriors of the Duster get are refreshed and it gets new grille and headlamps that give it a fresher and sportier look.
The new Duster will be ample cabin space along with 475 litres storage area in the boot. It will continue to bring airbags for safety along with ESC - Electronic Stability Control and ABS with Emergency Brake Assist. ABS will come as standard on all variants of the Duster.
The new duster is expected to be priced from a base ex-showroom price of 8.20 lakhs going up to 12.50 lakhs for the top variant when it is launched in India.
