At the 2012 Geneva Motor show, the upgraded Lexus RX made its debut. The RX will compete with the Range Rover Sport, BMW X6 and the new Mercedes M-class. The RX certainly looks like a crossover. The exteriors now have a inverted trapezoid upper grille and slanted lower grille which have been combined and integrated into a single element to create a 'spindle' shape. You will like the lower grille now features horizontal bars and is finished in black.
It also gets new, clear lens headlamp cluster design which has a a choice of halogen, High Intensity Discharge (HID) or Light Emitting Diode (LED) headlamps. The headlamps have integral LED Daytime Running Lights (DRL) .Now also fitted with clear lenses, the rear lamp clusters have been redesigned and look muscular. The current choice of 18" or 19" aluminium wheels has a new addition of a new 19" alloy wheel design, and plus you get four new exterior colours such as -Satin Silver, Burgundy Red, Sienna Brown and Midnight Blue. We like this grey colour.
Expect the Rx to be priced between Rs 60 to Rs 80 lakhs
