Revised Kia Rio and Venga at Paris show

The face-lifted Kia Rio and Venga have been shown at the Paris motor show. Both cars get a series of visual upgrades and enhanced equipment offering, and both will go on sale next year. Changes on the Rio include an updated grille, new front and rear bumpers and redesigned front foglights. There's also a choice of three new alloy wheels and two new colours.

The centre console has been redesigned and there are chrome highlights around the air vents. The engine line-up is unchanged. Buyers can choose from a 1.25- and 1.4-litre petrol and a 1.1- and 1.4-litre diesel engines. All Rios coming to the UK will get DAB digital radio as standard. For the first time sat-nav is expected to be available as an option accessed using a seven-inch touch-screen.
The Venga gets an updated front end as well, with the larger 'tiger-nose' grille as seen on the likes of the larger Carens MPV. It also comes with two new 16-inch and 17-inch alloy wheel designs and new rear light clusters.
