After rolling out the facelifted Swift in the market last month, Maruti Suzuki India has now unveiled a limited edition of the hatchback. Called the Swift Windsong Edition, only 100 units of this model will be sold across the nation. The car was unveiled at the Windsong Music Festival in Lonavala, Maharashtra.
The limited edition model comes in white with several music-inspired graphics. It gets two vertical black stripes across the bonnet, a new body kit with side skirts, new alloy wheels, a sportier front bumper, tri-colour stripes on sides and different decals. The roof along with the A- and B-pillar are painted in black. The headphone at the car's rear are not a part of the special edition.
The limited edition will only be sold in diesel avatar, which features a 1.3-litre multijet unit capable of churning out a maximum power output of 74bhp and 190Nm of torque. The diesel variant of the Swift is claimed to return an impressive mileage of 25.2Km/l.
Though the company is yet to reveal the price of the limited edition, we expect this accessorised version to cost around Rs. 40,000-50,000 more than the regular model.
