2015 Dodge Charger Sedan Review

The 2015 Dodge Charger Hellcat is much like any other Charger. It shares the same wide stance, long hood and roomy interior. It also shares the same basic suspension setup as the current high-performance SRT Charger.
The Hellcat, however, makes more horsepower than nearly every other car on the road, sedan or not. More than the top sedans from Mercedes-Benz, Porsche and Bentley. It also comes with two electronic keys, one that uncorks all 707 hp and one that limits output to a paltry 500 hp. Dodge says it can cover zero to 60 mph in less than 4 seconds and tops out at 204 mph. Except for those things, it's pretty much just like any other Charger on the dealer lot.
The 2015 Dodge Charger Hellcat is powered by a supercharged 6.2-liter V8 that makes 707 hp and 650 pound-feet of torque. A forged steel crankshaft, forged alloy pistons and aluminum cylinder heads are just a few of the components that make these staggering numbers possible, while an eight-speed automatic transmission sends power to the rear wheels (Dodge says packaging restrictions make a manual transmission unfeasible). Bringing the whole package to a halt are massive 15-inch Brembo brakes with six-piston calipers.

Dodge hasn't announced fuel economy estimates, but this kind of power and performance calls for low expectations.
